I just posted a similar thread in the Swinging & Single forum, but I thought it would also be a good idea for couples as we do occasionally have couples who come here asking for a critique of their ad.

So if you'd like to have your ad critiqued by others, please post your link here and we'll all take a look and give you some honest feedback.

Hey ranchcouple!

Your add looks okay, but can I suggest a few things?

The default pic on your profile (which is of the Mr. for those of us who are non-paying) should be G-rated. As a woman, I find G-rated pics of males more pleasing and they make the couple more approachable to me.

Also, under the 'Describe Yourself' area of your profile, you have a typo on the second line, between "either and safe".

Another thing I noticed, is that you're listed as a "Moderate" couple, but you don't really elaborate on what kind of sexual experiences you're willing to try or are interested in. For example, soft swing, same room sex, voyerism, etc... The reader needs to know what they might have in common with you, so they'll be comfortable contacting you.

Wow!

Great profile! I wish the couples that contacted us would be as 'real' as you two appear to be.

Usually when you don't have any pics on your profile, a lot of people will tend to pass it by. Since you're concerned with discretion, which is understandable, why not place some other types of pics. They don't even have to be of you two. Maybe find a few pics that describe who or what ya'll are about. For instance, the country club you play golf at or a favorite animal or even a funny cartoon couple.

On Swing Lifestyle, you can do a general search for couples and exclude ones that don't have pics from your search. Since you are paid members, it shows that you have a real interest in swinging and not just passing by taking a peek, but couples might miss you from their general searches if they browse the site the way I mentioned. If you have some sort of pic on your profile, you're apt to get more traffic to your profile.

Also, if I were you, I'd lose the 'stage fright' reference. Everything else is so well written, but that leads the reader to wonder how delicate your wife is and alludes that she's easily made uncomfortable. I'd chop that sentence off at the word 'slow". That conveys the message nicely.

Ranchcouple, speaking of your Swing Lifestyle profile, you might want to fix your profile here via the User CP to list your correct username on Swing Lifestyle (you currently have it listed as ranchcouple3 rather than ranchcouple

Regarding your profile itself... I think this is the type that Ves was referring to, it caught my eye as well because it left me confused.

and don't expect you to be either is "safe" she is not.

Also have to agree with Ves that you should elaborate on what it is you are looking for (ie. full swap? soft swing? less now more later?). I also thought your choice for default (and only non-private pic) was a bit odd. It's nice to see an add that actually includes a picture of the male half, but when no picture of the female half is visible it tends to make me wonder if she knows the ad exists (or if she exists). I liked the pic itself but you might want to show both of you.

To clarify, if you are on Swing Lifestyle and have your profile set to be public - then you can link to it directly by typing http://yourusername.swinglifestyle.com , if you listed your Swing Lifestyle name in your profile here it will also be linked from your Swingers Board profile automatically (if you have a public Swing Lifestyle profile).

TnTDaytonOhio - great profile, the only thing I'd like to see added is a picture, even g-rated with or without faces. Without a picture I would suggest maybe attempting to describe yourselves physically a little more detailed.

I found a couple of typos, however.

Ya'll have a great add, you include just the right amount of information about yourselves and I adore the default pic of the two of you.
