We are in a situation that we have been contact by a couple of couples that are interested in seeing the private picatures. When we tell them to please provide theirs as well, we don't hear from them again.

What's up?

Could there be something in our profile that may need to be changed?

If you mean your profile here, I looked at it and it seems fine to me. It sounds like they are picture collectors. We've run into that a couple times. I know it's discouraging, but no worries, things will happen for you.

Are you sending them pics and not getting any reply afterwards, or are you asking for pics before sending pics and not getting any response?

Sounds like pic collectors. When couples contact US first, we ask if they have pics to trade and if they say yes... we say great.. send them to (our email addy) and we will send ours back ASAP.

Hi, This is my first post after quietly lurking in the shadows. My wife and I were always worried about emailing our picture to people we just met online. We now use an email service that lets you send your picture embedded in the body of the email and you can set how many times it can be viewed.

Now when we send a picture we only let the other couple see it once or twice.

The site is http://www.bigstring.com The emails you send look and feel like regular emails except that you can recall, erase or self-destruct them after they have been sent and read.

I think it's important to clarify what type of pictures we're talking about.

Genitalia pictures vs. "street photos"--these I describe as pictures of people clothed which show their face and physique.

I can see why people would collect erotic or genitalia photos, but why street photos? Should Mr & Mrs John Doe have any concern when sending a photo of themselves sitting at a picnic table in their blue jeans and t-shirts with a smile on their faces? I would hope not.

Please, those of you in-the-know, let me know!

We were worried about sending our face pics to strangers. People tend to keep emails along time- it was just freaky sending our picture to someone you don't know- you just don't where it might end up.

The big string post may be the best thing since sliced bread! We will definitely be checking into those!

We don't send pics - ever - that we wouldn't want everyone to see - family, friends, co-workers, etc. That's just us, though. We figure - if everything works out - we'll show off the bods... We don't ask for pictures either. We've gotten a few, but - while we appreciate them - we aren't likely to recip.

Likeminds - I would say there is nothing wrong with the "G" rated family pic. We prefer getting those anyway - you can tell much about a person by their eyes, smiles, etc.

Reading this thread with interest, though!

Personally, I've never cared much if I saw "private" pics as long as I saw enough in a pic to see what the people looked like (in other words fully clothed was fine with me) and in return I rarely ever have sent out anything beyond a G rated or topless shot at best to people I haven't met yet.

I know that seems especially odd since I had an adult site for a while and anyone could view my pics there... but that's just it. If they are really interested in getting to know me as a person then seeing nude pics prior to meeting or after meeting won't make much of a difference.
