What do you prefer to see in profile pics?

We were just wondering what type of pictures would most people be interested in seeing in another couples profile. Since we are not on any website as of yet and have no profile we are trying to get a feel for what people look for.

We assume that a nice G-rated couples full body picture with the faces slightly blocked on the profile page would be a good idea. As for private pictures, we would tend to think that G-rated pictures with faces unblocked would be standard. Also, do most people want to see nude or semi nude pictures (faces blocked without question) of the couple they are contacting.
We must say that it really wouldn't be much of an issue for us, but we can understand how some people might be disappointed when you finally meet a couple and they find out that your shortcomings were not readily apparent in your fully clothed pictures, or that all your parts aren't actually where they used to be 20 years ago or that you may have to explain, "No, really.... I am naked and these aren't mohair pajamas that I'm wearing."
I guess what we are asking is, do people want to know exactly what they are getting or are a few surprises OK and expected.
I guess as far as we're concerned, as long as we are attracted to a couples personality and we think they are attractive fully clothed, anything going on underneath really isn't that much of an issue.

We are still really new but here is our take. Pics faces blocked or unblocked on the profile is a big help. We tend to eliminate profiles with no pics when we search. When you contact, yes send a face shot. That is one of the first things we ask for when replying to an email. Oh make sure it is both of you. As a couple it is so annoying to see only pics of the gals. Our thought is " wife is doing the husband not her". LOL Swing Lifestyle is real nice as you can put in private pics that can be either unblocked at your discretion or sent with your email. As for nudes, I cant say that I will complain, although she sometimes will. Really for us it is not so important, but if there is something unusual nudes might be nice to have. We did a nude shot with fake fruit covering the essentials. It gives a good idea and is a bit humorous. Just our take.

P.S. We prefer smiling people. They just look more fun.

We prefer nice pics that show your body type well. Women can do alot more than men. On our profile we have numerous pics (I need to take some off lol). The most important thing to us are pics that show your frame and body type. As far as face pics, some have them in publics some don't. We didn't for the longest time until recently. Now we have face pics in our public pics. Date stamps we do appreciate because it helps us know that the pics are current...some people are very deceptive in regards to pics. Just last night I sent our friends an email for Tgiving...they have old pics and new ones in their profile. In the newer ones the wife is at least 60 pounds heavier than she is in the older pics...they have the thinner pics as their default picture. To me thats absolutely deceptive and wrong. Nude pics are nice and we have them on our profile, but we stay away from explicit.

Well, we have a combination, and will be taking new pics next weekend. But they are carefully cropped and edited. I did have a clear face shot of me up until all the "outed" threads here. Spooked me and I deleted it. As for nudes, no problem, I have one posted here in my profile. Kinda funny, I don't post pics with my genitalia showing, but I do look for that in profiles because if the guy is smaller than my thumb I skip the profile because I want L to be satisfied and our meets with couples who the guy is incapable of performing didn't go to well.

we have a public pic that is discrete, our private photos are clearly us together, with a couple of each of us separate. you can tell its the same people from the ones of us together. no naked photos but what we feel are sexual. currently we have recalled them for some editing but they will be the same photos when we put them back up. we didn't realize the dates were not set on our camera on a few of them.

honestly though, we just need a clear pic.from others so we can recognize each other if we should meet. we use Swing Lifestyle, and they have a no copy feature that seems secure enough for us.

Basically, it's your resume, your words and pics are going to influence the type of folks you attract. No matter what you do, you'll attract some folks and repel others. We're comfortable assuming you have normal body parts and know how to use them.

The purpose of our profile is to catch the attention of folks we'd like to meet. We have only one pic, it's current and clearly shows our faces. A few emails and the initial meet serve as additional filters...

We like to see clear face pics of the other couple before our initial meet - that way we have a way of recognizing them too. Creative or artistic pics really catch our attention.

I like to see sexy, non reveling pics on the public section. A good idea of what you are looking at. More so I like to see the man in the profile. Too often the men are under represented or not there at all.

We like face pics. We have plenty of those posted in our profile.

I agree with PL...many times there are no pics of the men on the profiles. On one hand, if the wife is totally into taking pics in sexy undies and what not...ok. But sheesh, let us see what the guy looks like too...some profiles give me the impression that they are trying to pimp the wife out. I mean, you have 100 pics...and they are all of her? huh?

We do have more explicit pictures that we are willing to share, but most of them have not been approved when I try to post them on Swing Lifestyle...so they very seldom get shared.

We usually update pics every couple of months.

Please be warned that just because you can't right-click and save an image does not mean that it can't be copied. Just hit ALT-PrtSc and copy the whole window. Then you can crop to the image in any image editor and save. We use G-rated face pictures to avoid potential problems.

We only open profiles with pictures. Good pictures that show your general body type as public pics and good face pics that you can show us in your private pics is a minimum. Tasteful nudes are fine and sometimes may influence our decision but are not essential for us to meet.

i suppose someone could do that.and i see your point,straight face pics are great for us should we meet. but honestly we just aren't that afraid of someone copying our pics. there are always the looky lews and the masterbaters i suppose but like i say, they are sexual but not x rated. we don't have pics of other playmates in them as well, so as long as someone doesn't try to use it against my political campaign (as world leader) were comfortable with what we show.

We are much more readily drawn to a profile that has at least one picture showing both people together -- full-length, full face or discreetly-covered faces. We have never been disappointed by what we found when we first had a chance to "unwrap" someone.

I agree. We have found that most people look better than their pics. I do appreciate body pics that show general info about a person's body type. This is what we try and put on ours, this way a couple has the ability to decide (well, as well as you can decide from a picture) whether or not we are a couple they would be interested in. Yes, we have many, many more of me (I love panties; we call me a panty whore LOL) than Jay; but we do have lots of Jay on there as well. Again, I do appreciate date stamps, although I suppose you can manipulate that like everything else LOL.

I guess you are always a lot tougher on your own appearance and we were just trying to keep it light/funny when we posted this thread but it does sounds like most everyone is on the same page. Really from a lot of the threads we have read, swingers in general seem like a much more forgiving bunch.

As an afterthought we really would have liked to turn this into a poll with a few fun and lighthearted responses we just thought of. Is it to late to throw a poll in on this thread. We're barely computer savoy enough to get logged onto the Internet so any help would be great. Or do we need to start a new thread for the poll or do you think we should just forget it?
