I think women are quite different in preferences. I have been with some that like all clit stimulation and only allow penetration so that the man can get done (ie it does nothing for them). While I have also been with women who love only penetration and get next to nothing from cliteral stimulation. My wife is in the middle, she likes both (but LOVES penetration, that is her preference of the two).

anyway, the point is women are people with thier own tastes and desires, and I don't think you can lock the sex into likeing one thing.

I think most women have a preference.I've asked this question alot lately of my f friends.Almost all say that girth is more important to them than length.It would make sense to me that most women would rather feel filled up(or stretched) than have their cervix's take a beating.Besides ,just like men have an average length in penis size,so do women in the length of their vaginal canal's(4-6 inches)which is comparable to the average penis size(5.5 inches).Coincidence?

I think most people,when they hear "....big dick..." think of length and I'm sure that a 10 incher would be great for some but with the average vaginal canal being no more than 6 inches,that just sounds like 4 inches of wasted dick to me
Also,for most women,the vaginal canal is only sensitive from the opening to 1-2 inches inside which would cater more to vaginal orgasms with a man who is on the thicker side.
Me personally(I'm above average in length and slightly above average in girth)I would trade an inch of length in for an inch of girth anyday.

So what i gather from all of this is that most women prefer a guy who is thick but not exceptionally long and most importantly knows how to use it.

I am a guy that has an average penis. I do fine, but I think it is a difficult thing. It can not be equated to breasts size ( penis size). A woman can reduce or increase her breast size, a man can not do anything.
The ring will become even when a real penis enlargement procedure really appears. Then, a woman can tell her BF, hey ..go get an enlargement procedure......same way as girls go get a boob procedure.

The attached chart, based on various penis size studies, shows penis volume (assuming the penis to be a cylinder) by various lengths and girths. It shows, clearly, that an increase in girth drives volume much more significantly than a similar increase in length.

Not sure what it means, except volume tends to fill you up, but it is interesting. Seems to indicate that girth really counts (if used properly of course).

Me? I'm a right on average 6" length X a bit above average 5.5" girth for a very useful volume of 14.44 cubic inches.

I much prefer a thick girth over length any day. But, at the end of the day, it's not the size but what one does with it that matters. Any longer than 9 inches (which, incidentally is half of my favorite double dildo) and I feel uncomfortable pressure on my cervix. Kind of takes the fun out of it then.

After having had a hysterectomy...size does indeed matter. Over 7 inches and it gets uncomfy for me. Being one that is more easily stimulated and pleased by a master at oral sex, as long as it is not huge, I don't care how big the man's penis is at all.
