Here's a case which makes it clear how the vanilla world sees people like us:

I love this comment on one of the stories about this case:

"Is it just a lawyer or justice-worker thing that nude photos are taken of your private life as stated by law professor Karen Busby (Manitoba judge in nude photos takes herself off bench, Sept. 1)? None of the people I know have ever had private photos taken of themselves."

This is really sad for this lady Judge.
We are dying to see her nude shots when they become available.
That's why we keep our swinging lifestyle very private, as we are not prepared to face the censorship and being judged by society in general.
Maybe in the furture when things change we will come out, until then is fucking, sucking, swapping, in private.

For her sake I hope they don't. The anonymity of a swinger's site is one thing, the public glare of mainstream media is something else again. You yourself say you want to keep your swinging life private, so for pete's sake leave her what little dignity she has left.

I am not familiar with the judicial and legal standards in Canada, but I did not get the impression that the Judge and her husband lawyer were necessarily going to face sanctions. In the husbands case what he did was satisfactory to the bar years ago - why would it not be now? In the judge's case there is no evidence to support the complaint of sexual harassment. The article does not sate that the complaint is not as to what she may have done in her private life or that there are nude photos of her, but that she and her husband sexually harassed the complainant when there is no evidence they ever met or that she even knew what her husband was doing. These complaints should go nowhere. Of course, the public gossiping will continue for awhile. The legal system has a saying "Once the skunk is in the jury box, you can't get the smell out."
