Restaurant Under Investigation For Hosting Swinger Parties (NJ)

Ewing restaurant is under investigation for having parties for 'swingers' | NJ.com

Erini owner Chris Fifis denied the restaurant is allowing sex parties to take place on its premises.
The restaurant has on several occasions rented its banquet hall to a group that advertises itself as a swingers club but the events have been strictly "meet and greets," he said.
"What they do once they leave here, I don't judge," Fifis said. "Nothing (sexual) ever happened here. There were no problems whatsoever."
Ewing police came out to check on an event in late 2009 and found nothing wrong, he said. Township officials said police were unaware of the allegations of sex parties until very recently.

Wow! The fear level some folks have regarding sex is just astonishing. I'm dumbfounded. They wanted the cops to bust a meet-n-greet! I'm just stunned.

Ewing grants Erini's liquor renewal as neighbors squawk and 'Mr. Sizzle' defends 'swingers' club - The Trentonian News: Serving Trenton and surrounding communities. (trentonian.com)

The council also heard from Mike Viola, a Mercerville resident, who stood up and told the crowd “I am Mr. Sizzle.”
Viola was referring to published articles that said Erini’s was the scene of monthly meetings by a couples-only swingers’ group called Sizzle.

I was reading the comments and I don't believe I read one of them (on 4 pages) that spoke positively toward the city council or the mayor.

It's so ridiculous that sometimes I wonder if they protest so much that they have something to hide. I really liked the lady who said the neighbors who complained so much have dogs that bark so much that's all she can hear. She goes out for a smoke and she can't hear anything from across the street. She can't even hear the music that's played. But she sure can hear their dogs.
