Raids like this in 3rd world countries are usually more about money than about anything else.. the people join the Police force for one reason and that is to make a lot of money!!!..it is common to see a police officer here driving a paid up $20K car when his yearly salary is about a $250 month. The organizers of this party should have first paid a bit of money to the local Police and no one would have bothered them.. Living in the USA, you just dont realize how hard it is here.. for every single thing you have to deal with corruption.. recently we purchased a fridge and transporting it about 10 miles..we were stopped by the cops who wanted us to bribe them or they would just hold the pickup truck there and harrass us for hours over it.. (NO WE WERE NOT DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL.. just that it was a Bigger fridge) Nothing is sacred!! I mean nothing!! the cops can walk into your home at anytime.. (forget about warrents!!) and there is nothing you can do about it. |
