Denver sex club accused of serving a side of drugs - KDVR

It's a sex club for swingers. "There's sex everywhere, people just going at it," says a woman we sent inside with a hidden camera.
She says she witnessed couples having group sex and selling and using illegal drugs.
"There was a worker handing out free 'Ecstasy' (an illegal drug)," she says. "I was surprised they would be handing out drugs like that."

Denver Fire was one of the agencies involved in 2005, when the city investigated a number of code violations at the club.

The Denver Building Department ordered the club's owner to turn the building back into a warehouse or get a new certificate of occupancy.

But that never happened.

Ya know, I think we might be seeing a shift in public sentiments, as of this writing there are 102 comments to this article, they are overwhelming positive and in favor of the club, and of the negative notes, there are really only a handful of individuals responsible for most of them.

Oh they are going to have to much fun with this one.

Tagged them years ago for fire code problems and never fixed them.

Running as a non-profit? Red Flags all over here. That will invite the IRS into the picture. Not someone you want to mess with.

Not posting things right so someone can use footage from a hidden camera. Not good. No protection for the members.

On film passing out drugs. Would not want to be involved in this battle.
A few years ago T.V. crews hit every other place in Vegas with hidden cameras but when they got to us and saw the legal notices we had posted they did not come in. They don't want to take footage that they can not use and end up in court.

This is the type of operation that makes it hard for all the rest of us that try to do things right.

It is really pretty simple and holds up in court.

The Red Rooster is Miss Chris and Mike's home. We have a notice on the web site and on the front door that states no recording devices of any type are allowed within their home by anyone. Cell phones, camera's, tape recorders, video cam's. Nothing. Also that no photos can be taken inside the home by anyone that has not been appointed by Miss Chris or Mike. (\ Herb or I are the only two that are ever appointed)

Because of this the press or anyone else that breaks these rules can be sued in court if they do so and/or use them in any fashion. Even you taking a picture and showing it to a friend can land you in court.

One news station did not adhere to the rule once years ago. As soon as we contacted their attorney he had the station destroy the content and warned them about using it again.

As the owner of private property you are permitted to post any rules you like and they will hold up in court. By anyone entering the premises they give their consent to the rules with it being posted on or next to the door they enter through.

We found, keep it simple and be sure to enforce your rules. If you allow some guests to use cell phones and not others then you will lose your rights so we enforce the rules heavily for everyones protection.
