Man hit partner after swingers' party

Court heard prosecutor Karen Ball explain that on February 21, Humphreys and his new love went to a swinging party in Buckfastleigh and he became aggressive because of the male attention she had received at the party.

Wow. There's never an excuse for domestic violence, but this serves as a good reminder that jealousy and swinging don't mix.

We met a cool newbie couple, had a date, and then chatted aferwards for awhile. Then, they quit the lifestyle abruptly. When we inquired to make sure we were not the cause, and to see if we could still say hello via mail, they explained.

They had been on a date, the female half was not into it and the parted ways after dinner. Our friends found out later that the male half had beaten her failry severely because of her unwillingness to play, or other issue with the meeting. Tragic.

I wonder if he met the woman on a swinger site or who's idea was it to start to swing in the first place? I strongly believe that he thought that swinging would help him get over his lover of 20 years, but did not understand the ups and downs of the lifestyle. Either way, I agree with others here. He should not have hit the woman.

Never ever hit a woman or for that matter a man.
I had a friend, that when he got mad at his wife he would take a pair of sizzors, go out side and cut blades of grass until he calmed down. Weird I know but what ever it takes if you have a temper. Hit the old tally wacker if you need to hit.
