I love what this troll has to say, "I can assure you," Berliner says, "our county will be exploring every legal means available to ensure that the activity taking place at this particular residence does not have an adverse impact on the community." In other words, We will do everything in our power to shut this bunch of perverted freaks down! I do love the 4th amendment statement! |

Once again, somebody charging for parties in a residential neighborhood. Regardless of wether they are making a profit on it or not he is accentually running a club. I wouldn't want a club or Tupperware conventions for that matter in my neighborhood and it's not something I'd want my kids exposed to so close to home where it would be unavoidable. I own a construction company and I doubt most people would be happy if I set up shop next door. The neighbors worried about property values are 100% correct and have a valid concern, even if it was just Joe's Plumbing.

The fourth amendment really isn't applicable under these circumstances in that there was no "search and seizure" issues. A business is afforded less constitutional protections than one would have in their private residence. In this case the individual was running a business out of his home and violated an administrative code. He would have been better advised not to have a web site stating that they sold tickets. He could have, maybe, been better severed asking for donations and not advertising on the web.
