It's interesting that the prosecutor made some offers, but he has refused.
It's also interesting that he continues to hold parties.

Just another bone head operating a swinger club out of their home. This probably started with a complaint from a tight ass neighbor. But I wouldn't want one next to me either. To top it off they bust two people with cocaine and pot on the premises. I have a feeling Mr. Judge isn't so innocent. The guy has balls though.

As a former prosecutor this appears to be a "slam dunk" for the DA based on what I read. While I'm not familiar with the penal law of Florida, the only evidence the Assistant DA will need to win a guilty verdict is (1) the website that shows the club is operating as a business, taking donations or other (licensed or unlicensed), (2) the testimony of the two who were arrested in the club (probably stating that they paid money for the right to join the festivities) and that they openly used illegal drugs and (3) the testimony of the undercover or confidential informant that people would openly gamble and or use illegal drugs.

Makes me wonder how much money Jay Judge had to pay to get to this point in the case. So often in this country today, it's not what you're found guilty of, it's how many tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars you have to spend to defend yourself, regardless of the validity of the charges.

When I was growing up, I was taught never to break the law. Nowadays, it's not enough to not break the law. Now, you have to stay _extremely_ clear of any hint of breaking the law, or pay huge costs defending yourself even if there's not a chance in hell you'll be found guilty.
