The club's Web site on Tuesday also contained a pricing list for membership and event "donations," not fees, but made it clear anyone wanting to attend functions at the facility must be a member.

The one West Virginia club with which JoAnn and I are acquainted is licensed as a cabaret. This allows them to legitimately collect a membership fee and have a door fee. If people decide to try to work outside of the law, there are going to find themselves in trouble.

Since prostitution stings are a very lucrative source of revenue for the parasites who feed off the working citizen, any endeavor which might offer an alternative to it will be opposed by those whom most benefit by it.
It's all about control, folks.

I'm amazed there is a club there in the first place. That is in the freakin' boondocks!

I really hate that pandering attitude of "We don't know what they've done wrong, but we'll find something!"

Just learned about this today, from a couple we met at that club. I really hope this gets worked out to our benefit. This is the closest club to us, and it's very nice. Everything is new, and clean. I'm sure the owner doesn't want it to be a money pit, but so far I see no indications of just wanting to make a quick buck off of a sexually oriented business.
