So says this article.... then again it may only apply in the UK. I wonder if the most common swinger names are different in the US?

I know 2 Pauls and a Catherine. I'd have to say Dave or possibly Mike is the most male swinger name, and oddly enough we've encountered several Shirleys- not the most common of names in the general population.

We've met very few Pauls; in fact I can't remember any off the top of my head. We've met a few Catherines.

Robert seems to be the most common name of men we've met. At one time there were three couples we knew (enough to go out with) whose male half was named Robert.

Well, we have met a Paul, but can't recall a Katherine.

I think the most popular swinger names in the U.S. are Barbie and Ken, although no one wants to claim to be them.

I'm going to guess if you find the most common names for the 30-40 something crowd in your area you also find the most common swinger names in your area.

For funsies, I looked up the most popular names for my birth year, and yes, you're correct; we know A LOT of names on the list.
