Well, we watched the show tonight, over dinner. The first segment had three couples, who are all various forms of "alternate" sexual lifestyles.

One furry couple, one poly tri (one of the men was in the audience, rather than on-stage initially), and the swinger couple.

It was a fairly short segment, and the audience (or at least the questions they aired) primarily focused on the poly group, at least in part, I think, due to the woman in the group having a child by one of the two men.

Now, both my and the wife's overall impression was, the entire show seemed very open minded about things. The later segments covered a poll they had on the web site, with questions such as "have you ever danced on a stripper pole," "have you had a threesome," "have you skinny dipped," sort of things. At no point, did it seem anyone in the audience, or Tyra, was being judgemental, of any of the couples, or the audience members in the later segments who stood up to admit to having done the stripper pole / threesome / sex in a public place / skinny dipping (Tyra admitted to having skinny dipped while in Jamaica for a modeling shoot)

I think it'd be interesting, though, to see the un-aired bits of the show with the three couples, just to see what else was asked.

The show was better than I expected because I have had reports of others bad experiences on her show.

What gets me is the "shock" facial expression of Tyra and the audience over what we thing is just no big deal.

The mentality seems a bit like Jerry Springer trash but the guests all presented themselves very well I thought. I especially liked the negative STD testing at swing clubs comment.

Years ago I liked Springer who is quite sharp. I was surprised his show than turned into just yelling and screaming, fighting immaturity crap. But I guess there is an audiance for that.

Tyra was better this time.
