| Better than Ice Cream | One night as a swinger -See Magazine The writer has decided to check out this swinger thing that (apparently) everyone is doing, and heads to a local club. SMUG ALERT: The writer starts out with a case of the nerves, but her attitude certainly changes by the end of the article.

| Here to Stay | Perhaps I read it expecting the usual "Seems tame but they are all ole folks theme, and we are better", and thats what it says to me. She doesn't really come down on either side of the fence, and in my opinion slams the lifestyle at the end of the article. Her main problem was most likely that no other couples paid any attention to her and her Adonis. It does get the lifestyle out to the mainstream vanilla's but does it accurately portray those in the lifestyle, by having the reader believe that all swingers are accountants who won't live up to anyones expectations, and that the clubs are alive with wall flowers. Geez I sound bitter don't I, I guess its the fact that a nameless faceless media pundit, in my opinion didn't put a whole lot of time or energy into this article, and at the end dismisses the lifestyle, and slams those who were in attendance at the club that night as unattractive.... |

| Better than Ice Cream | The writer gets called out by a reader. -See Magazine If we wanted a realistic impression of life as a swinger, shouldn’t we have relied on someone who was in a position to at least potentially engage in the act itself? Maybe someone who doesn’t insist on constantly condescending her subject? Pro tip: if you have to remind your readers that you’re “open-minded and liberal,” you’re probably not.

| Swingers Board Addict | You know, I actually wanted the writer to take the plunge too. I was disappointed when I finished the article and found that he didn't really try it. Quote:
