For me, it comes down to the whole, "do unto others" philosophy. How would I feel if we were the ones who had a loved one take ill and had to cancel? While granted, I'd be more likely to call the people we were supposed to meet right away, not everyone would. So I'd try to give them the benefit of the doubt, and attempt to reschedule. =) |
