I think the % of swingers who want to make porn is not going to be great enough to do this without 'professional amateurs'.

Maybe I'm an optimist, but I think this could be a pretty successful line of videos. No doubt the behind-the-scenes folks will be pros, but if the 'on screen talent' is amateur (read that as real people, not paid professionals,) I think they could go far with it. It worked for Ed Powers and his Dirty Debutantes series.

As far as real swingers getting in front of the camera for something like this, I'm sure we all know at least 1 couple who would go for it without hesitation.

Isn't that what allot of people like any of us do now ? I mean in a sense.

Just through the few websites we belong to, as paid members. I have downloaded countless photos alone. Let alone all the vid clips that came along with them. Well, we didn't have time. If we count dimes I did pay an entity. Those people are real. They wanted to possibly meet us. There was a time we traded some pics of our fast found friends, then jumped to yahoo to actually swap porno pics between ourselves.HOT STUFF as far as I'm concerned. I cant say its the same now that we matured to only needing a face pic, but there was a time. I just deleted many today. You wouldn't believe. Call it the cutting room floor but its people we missed out on and probably never will meet them. Many probably aren't on the sites any moor. We cant keep track.

It seemed at the time it was just harmless trading and we did enjoy the exhibition of it. They obviously did too. Money was made somewhere and we didn't actually get paid, no one did, in all this. It was just a small amount of exibition... done for free

I think a members section of a trading web site is a LOT different than a for sale DVD line they are talking about.

So yea money has been there, but this is purely a commercial endeavor. I just don't expect a lot of true amateurs, and not many who are real swingers.

Not to far from home for us and it only took a little internet searching to find out.

We went to see a gang bang film being made. They have a business.

The guys there were willing to be in the film for free. There were other couples interested in this as well. We didnt particapate because Mrs.fun had strong reservations about being filmed. Actually, Homegrown does pay their 'actors'. I know a few people who have "worked" with them. Their entire line is amateur porn sent in by real people (who they pay for the use of said product). From reading the article, I got the feeling that it wasn't so much that they were going out looking for swingers to use but that they were creating a new line using content they already had (that had probably already been used in other videos, in their regular series).

When I first read the title to the article, I was thinking "don't they already have a "Homegrown Swingers" line? I think more than anything it's just a change in the way they are doing their marketing.

In answer to your question, I think you might be surprised at how many people would do it just for the thrill. Having said that, however, I'm sure they'd be paid in some way - either paid for doing the film with a professional crew or paid outright for the footage shot by the couples involved. Being paid for something, in my opinion, doesn't make you a professional. I've been paid to do a lot of things in my life, like building a fence - I'm in no way a professional carpenter.

I think the point of this video series is a good one though - real people having real fun, instead of the latest body-sculpted porn bimbo faking her way through ridiculous dialog to get to the sex scene.
