Don't believe everything you see on T.V. There is A LOT more to the story that was not told in this interview.

From what I am being told by the reporting investigator he will be doing a follow up report in the next couple of weeks bringing out more of the "truth".

The "truth" is always relative. Is this club the one responsible for the big signs that were an issue in a previous article I read?

In the last couple of years there have been a lot of social and legal attacks on the clubs here in Vegas.

A new kid on the block, in a way tried to get a license to open. Due to his "background" the county said NO. He is making a major stink about it so one of the news investigators interviewed him and also the owner, Mike of the Red Rooster, the oldest place in town to get another prospective of what is going on in Las Vegas.

There is much more to come yet. More background info will be aired in the next few weeks of what has really happened. That interview gave a very soft slanted view of what has really taken place.

His "background" as a swinger or is there something more sinister (and perhaps more legit) going on there? It was a swing club he was trying to open?

There is no "license" for a Swingers Club in Clark county (Las Vegas) He was trying to get licenses like some of the other places in the same shopping center he is in.

As stated, due to his background, they would not give him a license for his place. Due to court actions currently going on in Clark county I really don't feel I can publicly post much about the "background" at this time. Would not be fair to him or the court.

Certainly colors my view of Vegas as an adult destination - sounds pretty unfriendly to swinger clubs.

The vagueness of the article isn't what bugs me most. It's this statement:

Vegas is still a rather "prudish" town in most respects. It's okay as an adult playground in the city officials opinion as long as the kids are involved.

Why can't we (adults) have a couple of playgrounds that aren't meant for kids?

Vegas and New Orleans are two cities we've told ours we'd take them once they're 21. There are plenty of "family" destinations.

Vegas is the (now) numer two spot for swingers and first timers. I'm met several first-timers who just want to try something different. We have numerious clubs and house parties here (Not strip clubs). If you want to try something safely, Vegas is the place.
