I'm glad you are still reading and came back. I too have to echo what truckerbuddy said. It may have taken him a while, but at least he did open up to you about all those things. Please don't look at it as him lying to you and hold it against him. He loves you or he wouldn't have finally brought it all out. He did come clean because it was important. I am not one who believes that every detail of every past relationship has to be explored or expressed with the current relationship. What's in the past is in the past. He brought this to you now because he does have some desire for it to happen with you. As you said, his past relationships had gone south due to lack of full disclosure (cheating). That could have happened with or without swinging being involved.

I would suggest that you take some time and really talk to him about his desires, find out how strong of a desire this is for him and be open about your hesitations. You don't have to swing, and I'm not suggesting you do. ALL, I'm suggesting you do at this point is be open with him and continue with this open line of communication that has started.
