Do you mix swinger and non-swinger friends?

OK, if we start with this swinging thing...do most of you hang out with both swinger friends and non-swinger friends? Do you tell your non-swinger friends that you are swinging?

So far we have gone over to swinger friend's "vanilla" events. We have not mixed swinging and vanilla friends ourselves yet, but have no plans not to do so, depending on how comfortable we are with the people involved (the swingers). However, we would never tell vanilla friends about being in the lifestyle. There is another thread somewhere in here about that.

There are few occassions where my "swinger" friends and my "non-swingers" friends will get together... but those are VERY rare (and usually it's for large public gatherings at amusement parks or special events like a movie or something like that). Most of my non-swing friends really don't need to know where I'm off to if I'm going to a "swing" event.

But for the most part - they are pretty separate groups.

We've done it at other people's houses. Man, it can be a challenge...especially after a cocktail or two. You sooo want to give your friends a pinch (or more). Often find myself whispering to my wife, "now keep your shirt on, now keep your shirt on" LOL For the record though, we have always behaved ourselves.

I would suggest, keeping two sets, lifestyle folk and non lifestyle folk..

Imagine the uncomfortable conversation when a vanilla friend asks what you did last weekend, and someone pops up and says .. My wife

We have mixed both swinger and vanilla friends at parties. Most recently at our daughter's graduation party. No problems As mentioned......you've just got to watch the comments......especially when the alcohol kicks in Our swinger friends know to keep it on the down low as we would at one of their mixed party's.

And no we haven't told any of our vanilla friends that we play.

All of our friends know that we are swingers and yes we do have get togethers with both swingers and non-swingers. The way we look at it our non-swingers friends and new swingers in the making. But with our non-swingers friend who does hang out with us are getting interested and is always asking questions. We just tell they do do what makes them feel comfortable and go from there.

Love it! That's us, too. We've held "mixed" parties here and attended them, as well. And only one vanilla friend knows, but she's my best friend, and she knew me too well for me to keep a secret that big.

No, we keep our vanilla and our swinging lives totally separate and haven't told any friends.

We also keep them apart. Some of our vanilla friends know about our lifestyle interests, but it stays there.

being newbies to the lifestyle, we haven't socialized with other swingers yet, (or have we?) but would probably keep them separate, until we know which of our LS friends are better at keeping it all DL in mixed situations.

So far, only one of my friends knows...but only that we've gone to a swingers club together, not swapped partners.

My hubby has had a friend mention in the past that he and his wife were in the LS. (they were discussing our conversations on the topic)

We have mixed nudist and non-nudist friends without encountering any problems. We are completely open about our nudism and if our non-nudist friends meet new people at our place they probably guess they might also be nudists. But we are more discreet about our swinging and have never mixed swinger and vanilla friends apart from a few nudist friends who are also swingers.
