Going to a lifestyle resort

Unfortunately, we have returned home from our vacation at Desire Spa and Resort. Sigh!!!
Let me tell you, this was by far, the greatest vacation we have EVER had. My wife was in tears when we left. Actually, when she saw the room she got all misty eyed.
The service, grounds, rooms, events, activities, theme nights, food and people were FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!
If you have any thoughts af going to Desire....BOOK NOW!!!! You will not be sorry! We had the time of our lives!

Glad you had a great time at Desire - Cancun. It would be interesting to get your comparision between Desire and Hedo (we've never been to Hedo). The Mrs and I will be going to Desire Cabo in August, just booked the rooms today. I'll post my comparisons for the two Desire resorts after we return.
I checked out your photo on SLS I could swear that the islands in the back of the photo are from Mazatlan, just curious if you visited there, we spent about two weeks there in April and wouldn't mind retiring there.

Let me answer your question about Mazatlan first. They are from Mazatlan. We were there in March.
Now on to the comparison:
Hedo has a livlier atmosphere durring the day. The people there seem to be in the party till you puke mode. There are more than enough single men to go around. There are also prostitutes at Hedo. The diso is about the same but lacks a play room. The hottub is active at Hedo only at night. The food is good at hedo but limited to only one real eatery.
Desire is more laid back in the day but at 4 in the afternoon the action at the hottub picks up! the activities in the evening are wonderful and fun. PDA's are virtually encouraged in the hottub and playroom. At night, you will not see too many issues with the beach beds or pool. they just turn a blind eye to it.
The food is FANTASTIC! There are 4 places to choose from. Also, you can order room service around the clock. There is even a pizza bar at the lobby bar all night.
I could go on and on about Desire. Having been to both Desire and Hedo 2, I would take Desire any day! The rooms are spectacular. The service is instant! the smiles are always! The memories are forever.
I hope that helps.
I have been told that Cobo is a nicer (if that is possible) facility but it is more laid back and less active. There is no beach in Cabo. The one in Cancun is wonderful with MANY beach beds.
