Hi Monica,

Your questions are a bit subjective to some degree. The experience is very different for everyone depending on their own mentality, experiences, desires and situations. I think asking what it's like to be a swinger is kinda like asking "what's it like to be a girl". It's not something I can really answer.

I'm sure there are some swinger parties in S. MS, you might want to check the club listings here, as well as on SwingLifestyle for both clubs and private groups in your area.

Your last question again is subjective and depends a lot on the person. I started out swinging as half of a couple but after my divorce I did attempt to swing as a single female. I really didn't care for it. I prefer to have someone there that I know has my back and that I can rely on. As a single female in the swinger environment I sometimes felt like a piece of meat. Let me clarify as a single BISEXUAL female. There is a HUGE demand for the SBF in swinging, and some couples will see one and automatically feel that they have a right to her because she is there. That was how some couples made me feel. Others did not and treated me wonderfully.

Swingers have recreational sex.

Gulfport has an off-premise swinger club where you can meet people/swingers and then go from there. Close Encounters is the name. New Orleans has several places to go. A couple of on premise clubs and some socials. Mobile has a couple of monthly socials. There are even Yahoo groups for the local area.

I would suggest going to socials/clubs. As a single female swinger you will have a good time just like anyone else. I suggest you do some reading here and learn some more before you go. It will help. You are in charge of your swinging time. Have fun.

For us we have many thoughts on this. At times, we like meeting people where sex is not a big hang up. Swinging not only got us in touch with each other, in a more sexual partnership way. It also heightened our own personal sexual awareness. We look at things from day to day with a whole new outlook. There are many fantasies we have not only talked about, but we have experienced.

Then we have the social aspect that is different now. We do more as swingers, with swingers... Why? Well what can I say. We like to party sometimes, and we like sex. Put the two together and the party is, a lot more gooder..

I would think that your best luck there would be www.swinglifestyle.com. We use the site successfully. Although we do have some club listings here on the Swingers board. Have a look and see what you think.

We do know a few single girlfriends, that are lurkers here on the board (hint hint) we personally know, but I cant get them to post !...why ? I know the life of a working single bi female is busy with all that work and sex and stuff, and dating and work, and sex and stuff.......and dating ...... and you know...... work ...... and stuff.... We prefer to meet people at a party cuz then we aren't alone with a stranger.



Swinging in general? I think it's different for everyone but we all find it enjoyable or don't stay in swinging.
