How to find a photographer for sexy photos?

Recommended Posts

Hello, beautiful people!

I have an idea to find a photographer for my wife for taking professional pictures in Playboy/Hustler style. She is beautiful and has a perfect body, so I'd like to have pics to enjoy them when we get old 😃

From the other side, it would be some kind of a dirty game. She would have to pose naked in front of a stranger, and I like this idea. She does as well, although not sure for 100% yet.

Anyway, I am trying to find such a photographer, but don't know how. What key words should I use in Google? Do you have any ideas? 😃

yep, Boudoir is the term for it around here. Pretty common, I've even seen Living Social deals advertising it.

I've organized lifestyle photo shoot parties. I've found my photographers online on swingerzonecentral.

There is a group called erotic photographers. I didn't actually advertise on that group. I just looked at profiles. A lot of people will tell you in their profile if they are professional or amateur photographers with an interest in erotic photography. You could also post on the main wall or forum asking people for referrals. That will only work if swingerzonecentral is used in your area. You can join for free though and check it out.

Most photographers who do model shoots, pin-up, etc. use modelmayhem.com to show their work and advertise. I don't know if there is some sort of search feature on that site or not. But, that would be a great place to check out.

The newest photographer we're using I found b/c a couple I know had great photos on their profile. I just asked them who they used.

When I talk to someone even if they do boudoir, I ask them if they are comfortable with totally nude, or photographing sexual activity (if that's what you want).

Do not assume the photographer will play with your wife. That is a major problem my friend who is a photographer encountered. Also make sure you don't drink before the photo shoot, even if you're nervous. Alcohol makes your eyes look funny in photos, it can look fine in person, but strange in a photo.

i love sexy photo shoots! Have a great time!

If you have any local stores that sell sex toys, I'd start by asking there. One of the local stores near us actually offers that service and used to have a really cool private area set up for that purpose. A lot of regular photographers will do these pics if asked, but may not advertise it openly.

If you were local to New England we would be able to help. I shoot pictures with pro equipment of the sort. We want to keep that side of our life separate from our swinging life for privacy matters, but for people from here it would never be a problem to help out as it is the other side of our life lol. In any case, i hope you have found what you wanted.

I volunteer:) I understand your frustration and I wish I could satisfy the desires of many people who feel the same way you, and I, do. It would be like an X-Rated family album with pictures and/or video. Kind of like the after wedding photographer:)

Alexandlyn, MD and I might take you up on that offer if you are sincere :) We are planning to replace all of our photos in May-ish. We have been hitting the gym like mad, twice a day, most days trying to get ready for the summer and we were searching for boudoir photographers but EVERYONE of them (at least here in this area) require you to release the rights to the photos. Let me think about that, you want to charge us a shit load of money but you retain all rights to the photos...um, don't think so.

Yeah most photo shoots require this as the photographer wants to use the photos for his her portfolio. Because this is an experience away from our daily lives there is no need for us to keep the rights to the photos. They would belong to you. And yes we are definitely sincere on the offer. Are you guys local? If so it'll b easier to carry around photo equip. U can always PM us.

P.s. Twice a day? Wow I'm sure it'll come out nice.

"Twice a day" translates to 20-30 minutes cardio in the morning and then we have a 3-day strength training regimen with HIIT training in-between those days. Sounds more hardcore than it actually is. I call it a really great 6 day (we take one day off) workout broken down into two sessions.

Nice job on the workouts!

If I can throw my 2 bits in here, and I will even if I can't, I sometimes wonder if the "pro" shots for profiles are the best way to go. Maybe its just because I've been around the block enough now, but when I see them I tend to think "ok how were these edited" and "are these really them". Nicely done amateur shots I have a lot more confidence in being representative of what we are really going to see in person.

I do agree with you Chicup as we have seen what I would call studio quality profiles  where they are sitting on the couch, the bed, has soft lighting, etc. but what we are looking for would be more of an outdoorsy type of photo shoot. MD and I are not photo friendly. We just are never happy with our photo's we put up on SLS. We do not have a single photo from the November cruise we were all on because we don't like any of them and getting ones of us together...well, paying someone else seems like our best option.

Only problem is that we are in No. California. The good side is that we have no neighbors so taking pictures inside or outside is no problem.

We love meeting up with photographers for lingerie to nude photo shoots of the wife. At first, both she and I were nervous and excited at the same time but after the first one, it just grew from there. A lot depends on the photographer for the success of the shoot. Our first guy knew how to make her comfortable and complimented her without over doing it. She really liked that and now plans on photo shoots when we make trips to special locations.

Finding a photographer takes work but can be done. We never pay for the photographer and always state up front that there will not be any sexual interaction between her and the photographer. We don't want any false expectations. I usually post some feelers out on a couple of sites letting people know we will be in a place during a date and would like to meet up with photographers for some lingerie/nude photo shoots. I do screen out those that use only a point and shoot camera and just looking to get pictures of a naked housewife. I tell candidates that they should know their way around a camera, something about composition/poses and how to make her feel comfortable. I also ask if they have done something like this before or what experience they have as well as sending me any sample of their work (assuming they have the ok to share shots). Shots do not need to be nude or even sexy but should show their skills in photography.

We have had 6 different photographers so far and have met some more than once with great results. The hardest part is finding "real" photographers that will show up. The worst example is our last trip to Vegas where we spent just over a week there. We had 4 different photographers lined up and each one was getting their own session. We had 3 cancel for various reasons. They do know what she looks like so it is not that she is not photogenic - quite the opposite really. But I suspect it is a lot like finding guys/couples that play along and then when it comes time to actually meet, reality sets in and they bail.

We do not use CL but a couple other adult type sites as well as Meet-Up where you can find groups in various areas that might do that.

I will stop back and see if there are other questions I can help with. We have certainly had fun with this.

Pondering the response. Good photographers aren't interested in a sexual experience, just capturing special moments during the shoot. You can shoot a 1000 photos and 20 are special. Remember that it's as difficult for the photographer as the model, the right moment, the right pose. Then I have to ask, why you don't pay? Interaction between the photographer and the model for pay is illegal, well maybe not in Vegas, but most other places. POV photography is fun, if your being photographed doing it. Sometimes photography is from the viewer's eyes, not the photographer, and we simply capture he eye's and that tells the whole story. Just a thought. Make love to the camera, not the photographers

rodzone, did you ever find a suitable photographer? Has your wife gotten more comfortable with the idea?

My GF has discussed filming a professional porn type of thing.  Not like just sex but a whole scene with some kind of back story to it.

My nephew's wife does this and has taken video and pictures of nude and sex scenes. She told me her business is by far more popular with the lesbian crowd. She told me than all most any bedoiur photographers will do nudity and sex scenes.

How do you handle privacy on SLS? I am unsure of whether I should put faces in my pics or not. I just don't want these pictures to be harvested by pic collectors or stalkers or things like that. I am debating on what to do.

      Any suggestions?

We haven't looked for new couples in a few years, and just started last month. What I am sort of amazed to see (and I don't recall this before) is how many people do close up shots of their penis/vagina. Some ONLY include said shots, as if a nice vagina is all one needed to see to determine attractiveness. It is not like there is anything special about their genitals. It is not a single male showing his massive member but couples just sort of saying 'here are our naughty bits, mail us'.

To add insult to injury, the poor digital photos/scans often make them look very unappealing.

Maybe it is just us, but we never respond to ads where the primary focus is on the nether regions. We sort of assumed you had those parts before we saw them and if everything worked out we would see them.

So if any of you think those ads are good or have one yourself, my question is why? There has to be a reason so many people do this, and we just don't get it.

Okay, so our first few months of trying out the online thing haven't worked so well.

We've gotten a good number of emails from people saying they love our profile, but when we open up our private pics...radio silence. The truth is, we have very few pictures, and they are not at all revealing. Time for some new pics.

We're not interested in putting nude pics online, though we're okay with revealing. After all, you probably want to see body type, right? Anyway, we've had no problem getting some good pics of my wife, but we're not sure what to do for me. I have one that seems ok, but we don't want to have a bunch of her, and just one of me.

So, what are some examples of what you like to see in the male's pic? Fully dressed? Shirt off? Feel free to make suggestions!

Have any of you had cheesecake photos taken and made specifically for your on-line profiles. This question came to my mind after reading a suggestion of "not everybody had Annie Leibovitz take their photos." Ten points if you know who Annie leibovitz is.

I have already asked for feedback on our profile but I have a question related to photos. Actually, I am asking for suggestions on great ways to take eye catching and thought provoking photos. What types of photos seem to get the best responses? Is it quantity or quality? This online venture has changed so much versus how it was in the past. My opinion is that photos most often can be deceiving in multiple directions. Thanks for the feedback in advance.
