Having A Bad Day?

What the Hell is going on around here? Is there a sign out on the web that says "Need a lift? Need to piss someone off? Need to kick the dog for stealing your steak? Pissed off because you aren't getting any? Does belittling someone else make you feel better about yourself?" "If so visit Swingersboard.com, the place to GET EVEN". Today alone there are at least seven or eight posts directly aimed at ruffling feathers, and it is carrying over into other topics.

It seems that as of late we have had a flux of new members that are here to soley piss people off. (my observation)

I've got nearly 4000 postings on this board (yeah, I'm windy) and I've read nearly every topic and some more than twice. You would be hard pressed to find 10 postings (of mine) that pretty much told people to F_ck off. Literally or evasively. It appears that some with as little as 20 postings and other with as many as 200 are doing nothing but *PISSING PEOPLE OFF* and deriving some sort of pleasure from it.

It was brought to my attention, via a personal e-mail from a member of this site as to how 'ugly' people were being to each other. (One of my postings was in question also). As I tend to read everything posted here, I had not looked at it through the eyes of someone new visiting this site as to me appears to be relatively few (based on all that I have read). New comers have not had the opportunity to do that yet and when they read the latest postings.... well, I can say that had I stumbled on that when I first got here, I'd have hit the 'back' key in a heartbeat.

After exchanging e-mails with this member of the board, I realized that I had the power to change that, for myself and maybe others. While I am too nosey to use the ignore feature, I can internally ignore. *Pat's self on back for being very good for four days now.*

Everyone has a choice here. If people or posts are offending you, please use the ignore feature or internally ignore them. When these *self satisfying people* get no attention or response, to an abusive comment, they will rapidly lose interest in the board all together.

I apologize for my use of the f word in the many posts that I did today . You see when I awoke and got to work and saw how brutally desecrated the posts got I responded in what I call a primal instinct. I am truly sorry I will in the future limit my responses to a minimal amount of frustration and disconcert for others.

I thought I would start this thread since there is not one to my knowledge. After today’s events I would like to say I was a little out of line and that I apologize for my barbaric abuse of the privilege I have of posting on this board. If there are any future apologies I shall post them here.

Having not been involved in any of it, I'd just like to say that it's a real yawn to read through when you're looking for meatier discussion.

It's nice of you to apologize. I know some have gotten a little upset at the way, some of your posts have turned really neat and interesting topics into gutter trash.

But if you feel you are right and are just posting your oppinion there is no reason to appologize for that.

You do come out with some very interesting ideas and thoughts. Just sometimes they seem to come out the wrong way, but hey we are not born writers. And PC is never a way to be in life. I refuse to be PC.

Keep up the interesting views and I love a good debate.

I too offer my apologies if I have offended anyone---I realize that there have been a few post I made that where a little on the state penitentary side, But they were generaly aimed at one person--maybe 2 in particular. Actually, "BAMA" this posting was not aimed at you, specifically, nor any other specific poster on this board. We have all been guilty at times (my most recent several days ago) of feeding into the bull shit.

This post is specifically for ALL members of this board, so that they know their concerns are documented and taken seriously when they choose to report posts to moderators.

While it feels good to retaliate, I'm learning it feels better to just ignore them.
