What have you learned?

I have read this forum for some time now. I have seen people come and go. We all have read some very interesting posts and responded to excellent questions.

Some come to seek answers to problems in their lives. Some are here to offer advice and sometimes comfort.

I'd like to know, have you learned anything by coming to this message board? If so, what?

I have learned some things about patience, understanding, diversity and kindness. I have laughed at and with so many. I also learned that sex-crazed folks have so many other interests, too.

So, please, tell me.

Cool question. I think that I have learned that its okay if things don't always go perfect or how you wanted them to at least. That it is great to be able to talk to peolpe about the lifestyle withpout the wrong people finding out. It was so hard for me not to tell someone in my excitment that we were going to meet a couple or attend a club. Its great to have peole to share your experiences with.

I have learned that there are some good single guys out there. Plus i have learned that in my near future, as the kids get older, I am going to nbave so much fun.

I have also learned that I know nothing about politics and to stay as far away from those threads as possible.

I was one of those "Damn the French" bad mouth guys. I may still be. But, I gotta say, in spite of political discussions that we all have read here, I have to say that talking Cajun cooking with U_Need kinda turned back into who I was before.... just a person.

I have learned so much from so many wonderful minds. Some things to embarrassing to admit...even to all of you. Here is an incomplete list;

I've learned that a person could get cancer from anything. Anything.

There really is a Santa Clause, an Easter Bunny, and even a Tooth Fairy.

Some of this boards members have pampered pets. Some take great photos, some like flowers, some have kids, some don't, none, not even one, will tolerate a cheater, there are no stupid questions, size does and doesn't matter, money means more to some, everyone's a comedian, people give credit where credit is due, everyone likes a smilie, people come here from all over the world, most will readily admit their lack of sanity, & some will admit to sexual acts with fruits, veggies, and various household utensils.

Ok so I've learned alot.

The most important thing I've learned though, is that everyone can come here to express themselves. Thats what keeps me here. The ability everyone shows to accept all kinds of people with all kinds of styles.

Agree or disagree. It takes all kinds, everyone is welcomed, the door doesn't ever close.

Oh, and I did also finally learn what the letters DP stand for.

Hey my US friend I am glad You talked with Uneed_Love2 about cooking recipes but she is not french she is a Canadian citizen (and I am the frenchy) so she is not involved the same manner as I can be in political discussions.

Then, to both of you, I hope that your adventures in the kitchen lead to great fun, flavors and fantacies.

It's a great Honour for me, my friend, and I send you in return a fraternal hug. Very Often words are "poor things" when we try to express feelings but, untill now, words are still the best ambassadors to help people to understand themselves better.

We are all human beings with our weakness and our strengh but we all have in common an heart which is beating for the ones we love and we like.

Over the Ocean, each day I learn a bit more about You all on this board and each day my heart is becoming slightly bigger because some of you are taking their place into my heart.

that sitting in front of the computer all day means I get almost nothing else accomplished

that reading off the computer monitor for too long gives me a headache and it means I sit too close to the computer... need to reconfigure my desk arrangements
