Why aren't my posts appearing right away?

i posted something in the new member introduction but it's not showing up. did i do it wrong?

Moderation is a two step process... first you have to verify your email address then I have to approve you. This makes sure that the spammers (for the most part) don't make it through and cover the board in spam).

I got a little behind this week on approving, so it may have taken a little longer than normal for you to get approved, but you should be good to go now.

What would be considered the normal timeframe for the approval of new profiles? Thanks

Within 24 hours after you confirm your email address (usually more like 12).
