spam thru the board

just received spam message here, aside from deleteing it how do you want it dealt with? Is there a way to notify the administrators or is it something we need to just deal with ?

I get them too and received a PM just yesterday, I just delete them.. Mods cant stop them all.

Just delete and be patient. The Mods can probably stop (most of) it, but it takes time to accomplish. I haven't received one, here, but the boards I am Mod of receive most of the crap from Eastern Europe and the Pacific Rim. South America and the Caribean are emerging as problems, too. You can block on those troublesome IP Blocks, but then you just became on shore and deleted major chunks of world geography. Sometimes that is bad, sometimes not.....

The latest spammer was caught yesterday morning. If you get another one, copy and past the entire PM into a PM to Julie, and she will deal with them swiftly. Any of the Mods can do it also.

We are aware of the PM spam from swingers256..... and they have been banned. If you have received this spam you can go ahead and delete it without reporting it.

If in the future you receive other spam via PM from other users please forward it to me (there is a forward button on your PM options).
