members list

It it very nice that this site has members that are willing to put their private addresses to be contacted. I was just wondering since you have them in alphabetical order if you could also put them by state to make it easier for people to contact one another in the same state. I think that would be great.
Thanks for your time and consideration on this matter. What do you guys (members) think of this.? would like to know.

I moved this to the "Comment Box" since I can only assume you are referring to the member list here (which has nothing to do with clubs - which was the forum this was originally posted in).

The members list is alphabetical and is not searchable for two reasons.
1. It's a drain on resources causing the whole site to slow down,
2. More importantly and the real reason - this is not a hook-up site, therefore we don't people attempting to turn it into one. The only members who show up in the member list are those with at least 3 posts to the forums. If they choose to be contacted directly or via PM you may do so either from their posts or from the member list.

Members may determine whether they wish to post their email address publicly on their profile, or be contacted indirectly (with the email going through the system so that the sender can not see the email address... unless the recipient replies to said email). There is also a private message option which can be enabled or disabled at the users discretion.
