how much backstory to repeat in posts?

my husband has not posted too often, and tonight is my first night at the keyboard. but we've explained our situation in posts a number of times...we are poly and nudists but not swingers. my best girlfriend was my husbands 1st girl, and our exclusive threesome lover for many years. her name is anna, my husband is todd, and i am kari. i assume that not many people will be able to connect the dots to previous posts, but it seems like too muc h repetition to keep summarizing our situ for context in every post. how much should we assume people will remember about us, or even care about?

Often, the easiest thing to do is to link back to other threads that contain info that is pertinent to the current situation. I wouldn't assume they would remember much of anything but if it's important to the point of your post you might want to remind them. You could also consider adding that bit that you just said here to your profile for even easier reference.
