Opinions on the Reputation System - Page 2

I've had some of each directed my way.(both good and bad)
I've already made my thoughts known in regards to the reputation system so I won't belabor the issue.

Seems like a good way to give feed back with extending the length of the thread unnecessarily.

Since Julie checks negative feedback, it should be good as is I think

I have received both positive (green) and not so positive (amber?) "reputations". While I am not likely to change my opinions, I'm old enough to take both types of commentary in an adult manner.

Checked your history and you haven't had any negative ones left. What you may be seeing is a rep that was left by someone who does not any reputation power to give, so i tcomes in as neutral (gray/purple). Negative reps would show up as a red dot.

I think the reputation system should remain anonymous. I don't remember giving negative feedback (although I may have at one time or another) but I always sign my comments when I laud someone for a good post.

It would be nice to see a way to reply, even if we could not see who we were replying to (they remained anonymous but you were able send a thank you). I always like to say thank you for good rep, but on occasion, it is not signed. Sometimes I forget to sign it myself, and I don't think I have ever sent bad rep. But if it is not signed I don't know who to thank. Maybe that option on good rep only, not bad rep. Just a thought.
