SB Playing Card Design Contest?

It's amazing the things I find on the web. I found a website that prints custom playing cards in any quantity. The gears started turning: what a great way to break the ice. If you're not quite sure if your friends are swingers and you want to send out a "playdar ping", you could break out the cards for a quick card game. Good conversation starter, and if it goes badly, you can lie your ass off and say it was a gag gift from a friend.

What an interesting idea.

I former co-worker gave me a book of matches when I asked him for a light (this is a story from many, many years ago as it has been a long, long time since I quit cigarettes). My (first) wife finds them in my pocket and declares, "This is a gay bar!" I thought not to confront the co-worker with this information 1) he might not have know it was a gay bar and then would have been wondering how I knew 2) he might have know it is a gay bar and was on a "fishing expedition" to see if I was maybe a person of similar inclinaiton.

If it's a site like Cafepress where the cards can be ordered as desired, vs me having to order them in bulk, it would be an option.

I like the idea. It is a unique marketing tool in addition to breaking the ice at a party or just meeting someone.

Yeah, I just thought it might be another prize option instead of the T-shirts. Don't get me wrong, I love my T-shirt! It's just that there are only so many places you can wear it. I was thinking, have a contest where board members compete for best design on the back of the cards. I'm thinking something with the SB logo and a catchy double-entendre slogan. Something like, "Wanna play?" or "Naked people have more fun." or something like that. Use your imagination.

The winners would get their own deck of cards. I just thought it would make for a nice icebreaker. I thought I saw a site... Unless someone wants to front the money it's not something that I could even consider at this point. Like I said if it was something like Cafe Press where it was just design the cards and let folks order them as they desired it would be a no-brainer. But, otherwise I see it being like the cookbooks, something I spent way too much money on that ended up sitting in a closet for years until a bunch of them go ruined when my garage flooded.
