Would you like to see this forum addition? - Page 2

I read and understand the post was not about selling wives. Mypost should have had an (lol). I voted 'no' to the idea of selling things on this site. It is a serious site for people who have serious questions and get good advice and points of view from others who wish to help them. Adding a for sale or trade forum would take away a lot of it's seriousness and purpose. Like selling eBay items on Webmd. Don't make it less than it was intended to be at inception. Don't make it commercial when it is personal.
There are various posts of humor between board members that bring a smile for there cleverness. My suggestion of trading wives for a vacation was an lol comment, and betting it would be used more for that is probably true, more so to swingers looking for an adventure. But not on this site, maybe on a site called 'Trade wives for vacation" personal ad site. (lol) in case someone thinks I want one started.
Julie, the fact that you took my 'yuk' comment seriously is a testiment to the seriousness of the site you run, that (most) everthing is taken seriously. You said
you were more interested in hearing why or why not than a yes or no. This is my serious reply.

The downside of the internet (and thus the need for smilies) is that we can't see people's facial reactions and thus unless it's someone whose sense of humor we have gotten to know, we may not know when they are joking (without the smilies). My apologies for taking you too seriously.
