No ads for contributing members?

Hi there,
I am a member of several other forums, that cover some of my various hobbies, and a few of them are operated by the ads they display. A few also have the option of disabling the ads for members who have contributed (financially).

I don't have an issue with the ads, however they do make it hard for me to check the site at work or anywhere other than in the privacy of my own home. I would have no issue making a contribution to the site as I know from personal experience hosting sites can be expensive.

Is this something that might be considered? Also something like the privacy feature on the Swing Lifestyle website would be cool. This is just a thought. I love the forum and anything that allows me more freedom to use it can't be a bad thing.

On this site the ads are the only revenue source. I only get paid when people follow said ads and sign up. This site isn't exactly cheap to run, but other than having to view ads everyone gets to enjoy the site for free. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

As for a "panic button" that is on the list of features that I am planning to ad in the near future.
