I've been kicking myself for that for 3 years.

FYI: Monkeyboy - don't plan on Memorial Day this year, have a graduation to attend that weekend, but as far as I know any other weekend holiday is fair-game.

Not a good weekend for us either. Little monkeys might be here - and if not, it will be a short reprieve from them and we may just want to breathe.

Labor day seems more likely. We'll toss it around

I don't know if this counts but on Monday we received an email on Swing Lifestyle from a women that goes to the same gym as us. She said she recognized us from there but didn't know what to say. We couldn't believe it.

I think what is emerging from this thread is that Meetups help members to connect faces with the views expressed in threads, friendships are formed and therefore we should encourage more Meetups.

We are relative new members on the Board. So the short answer to have we ever met?.....is NOT YET....but are looking forward to the day that it happens.

YES.

Two wonderful couples a story to go with each!

The first was through flirty chat on SwingersBoard. It began with some back and forth private messages with a couple that doesnt meet single guys and is a considerable distance away. Add more chatting, pic exchanging and a small detour of an already planned road trip and meeting 1 was nothing short of phenomenal with repeats planned!

Meeting two was by chance. I met a single lady and she invited me out for a day with some others (2 other couples) in the lifestyle. I had already met one of the couples that was supposed to hang out but a family emergency prevented them from making it. The four of us ended up having a spectacular day in the Virginia sun. It wasnt until I looked closer at a certain poster's avatar that my mind clicked and that I had spent an unforgettable day with %^&(*(&)(())))(*

Many more I hope!

I have yet to meet anyone from this board ... (at least, none to my knowledge) ... which is a crying shame.

In February of this year I went to a social and had THREE seperate members of this board introduce themselves to me (recognized my name from here and Swing Lifestyle and recognized my face). It was awesome. I knew there was another member so I grabbed that couple too and had an informal Swingersboard Meet up. We all chatted quite some time and had a great talk about the lifestyle.

I just realized

I became a registered member of this bulletin board exactly five years ago. I no longer have enough fingers and toes to count the people I've met who are also members of this board

After reading posts and looking at the pictures of several we have found that a very nice couple from the Mississippi Gulf is on the Board. We met this nice couple at Close Encounters.

Maybe they will see this and remember also.

We've met quite a few registered members. Some of them don't post very much, others a bit more. We met several of our SB friends at the Gatlinburg meetup last year, and they were all as great in person as they are on the board.
