There is only one couple that we meet that is on the board. They go to the swinger club that we go to and we meet them long before we became board members.

Wow! That must have been a startling realization.

I'm curious. You use the past tense of the verb. Was a relative? Has this person (Have these people) gone to their heavenly reward? Is this a person who no longer visits this bulletinboard? Will he or she maybe post a reply in this thread?

We haven't meet anyone from here but we are happy to do so. We are doing a road trip from Boston to the Midwest in Sept, then a few days in Santa Monica, so if you want to meet, drop us a line.

Why yes we have! As we were leaving our "local" (1 1/2 hours away!!) club, I heard someone say "PB&J?" And proceeded to have a chat with lardub about what a great site Swingersboard is!! (and small world... they were there with people we knew!) Still not QUITE sure how he figured it out, as I only use this name on this site, but there ya go.

Yes it is a small world actually I figured it out because our mutual friends said your name and then said that you live near that beach we had discussed with them that we like to go to, and I figured putting your names together and just how small this community of swingers really is I would ask...

I echo Alura's sentiment on Meet Ups. The people here never disappoint in person!

We've been to two Meet Ups and hosted a third. I can say that there are more people here who I'd love to meet. We've made some great friends and, like Julie said, if only some of the people we've met lived closer...

We'll definitely be looking for a Meet Up close to us soon!

What a blast of nostalgia. I started this thread just a year-and-a-half ago. Since then JoAnn and I have met a couple of dozen SB members, every one interesting as all get-out.
