Have you ever met a person who is a registered member of this bulletin board? - Page 2

I've met quite a number of people from the board, mostly at various MeetUps and some who I met prior to their joining and then they joined. It's definately not about hooking up and just because we can say we've met folks from the board doesn't even come close to meaning that we have hooked up with them. On the other hand some of those I have met through the board are people I would consider very good friends and DAMN if they only lived closer I would love to call them more than that. As someone else alluded to I have found that the people we have met through this site are the most REAL swingers I've encountered. What you see here is usually what you get when you meet them in person. To be honest I think that is not the case with ALL members here, but I think that those for whom it is not the case tend to avoid actually meeting people.

That's exactly our experience. Although we have only been on the board a relatively short time, from what we have seen there is a much more friendly vibe that fosters actual discussions and exchanges of ideas..as opposed to the antagonistic one you feel lurking under the surface of most other forums that result in them pretty much degenerating into 'pissing contests'. Having met a couple of board members, we attribute that to a different breed of cat found here!

I have met more than one, however I don't think that one of couple I have met remembers me lol, we had met them at either a house party or a meet and great here in the springs gosh around 2000 time frame

I've met people from the Board at the Ohio Meetup a year and a half ago.

I've not met anyone at a club or the like that knew me only from Board (i.e., no meet up).

Someone from the board is helping me with a project. It's interesting because he complimented me on my confidence to meet a man "alone," and yet for me it was so easy because I already "knew" him from his posts!

. As per my personal choices, I have found some very attractive couples here and will really want to meet and chat with them if I get the chance to come to USA:

TNT, sweet_tna, and fun4Ds, and JustAskJulie

I also like ALilOEverything too but I don't know whether she is single or married , her avatar is excellent.

It's really strange, I was posting and saw someone from the same town. Turns out they live less than a mile from us!

So yeah, we met them. We hang out regularly now too. Thanks swingersboard!

I think I would really have a hard time thinking of members of this board "that way". I feel like we connect on another level. Like someone said, more "cerebral".

I've never met anyone from the board but I'd like to.

I PM'ed Tybee Swing once when I was passing through her neck of the woods, but they were otherwise engaged that day (we were visiting the U.S. from Canada)

I'd also really love to meet Intuition. I could just see sitting at a restaurant for lunch, and talking for hours. I totally get a sense of how REAL she is. She only lives a couple of hours from me, and we visit her town fairly frequently. Maybe one day!

I'd also love to meet prettylady, although I remember she has a lot on the go planning a wedding and finishing school.

I hope we get an Ontario meetup soon!
