Default Search Function Issues?

I noticed the search function is not working for me this morning.

When I do a quick search, it defaults back to the page I am on (New Posts).

When I do an advanced search, it says to enter more than 3 words (paraphrased) even though I have.

Glitch in the matrix, or an upgrade in progress?

Not for sure...I tried it and everything worked fine for me.

There are no upgrades being done right now.

Anyone else having the same problems?

Under advanced search, I just typed in "There are no upgrades being done right now" from your post. Here's what I got back.

vBulletin Message
The search term you specified (no) is under the minimum word length (3) and therefore will not be found. Please make this term longer.

If this term contains a wildcard, please make this term more specific.

So, I think I figured out the problem. If I delete the word "NO" from the search, and type it in as "There are upgrades being done right now", it then works, and finds this thread.

So basically, if any words entered into the search are less than 3 letters long, it kicks the search out.

I was misreading the error message originally.

It also may kick it out by not counting common words like, they, no, but, and, etc.

it should just ignore those words that it won't search for though and continue to search for the words it does include.
