Memory Lane: Swingers Board MeetUps!

Cplnuswing suggested that perhaps we should have a stroll down memory lane to remember our favorite moments from the various Swingers Board Meetups. Obviously, not everyone has been to one... but maybe some of these memories will convince you that you shouldn't miss the next one.


Mine would have to be the Memphis meetup and Spoos kilt garnering quite a bit of attention at the vanilla night club we were attended.... not to mention a few of us actually being outright asked by the vanillas if we were a group of swingers..... was it really THAT obvious? And what the heck was that drink at BB Kings? I'm sure TnT remembers !!!

I have to agree with Julie, Memphis was da bomb!

I got a lot of teasing at that meet up because we were having such a good time that we would get up early and start calling everyone to make plans for the day. The only other early birds were Mr. & Mrs Naughty, everyone else wanted to sleep. Our philosophy is you can sleep when you die, lets have some fun.

For the Mrs, it was in the club at the big Nashville Meetup last summer. That was our first visit to an on-premise club not to mention our first swinging event of any type. She had a blast and talked about it the whole drive home.

For him, it was probably the limo ride during that same Meet-up. We pulled up, everybody spilled out in their best club attire, and we were ushered in while everyone else was looking around like "who are these people?". Nothing beats living like a Rock Star if only for one night

That would have been a MoJo and Ted still won't drink one to this day

The Limo ride at the Nashville Meet-Up is a favorite memory to me...it was the first time I'd ever even seen inside a limo, it was so cool!

Almost getting kicked out of a vanilla bar in Memphis because someone couldn't behave always makes me chuckle.

Going to Coyote Ugly in Atlanta was fun too....the look on one of the bar tenders faces when someone asked for a body shot was priceless...guess they don't get many request from women for body shots

Favorite moments? Where to start? I only went to the one in Memphis

Dancing on the roof of the Peabody Hotel in Memphis with Mr. and Mrs. Goodtimes the night before the big meetup.

Getting asked to leave the vanilla bar was the best, we were definitely the center of attention.

The reaction to Mrs. Naughty's t-shirt at the other bar that I think said "my husband likes to watch" or something else really naughty like that

Spoo's kilt, that was so great, sad when a man has sexier legs than me

Getting to meet Julie... it was quite an honor and she's tons of fun.

And meeting everyone! It was just the coolest thing in the world. Putting real personalities with everyone you've read about. There was definitely a higher energy than any group of vanilla friends I had ever gone out with. I truly had the time of my life!

I would go again if I could *sigh*

I have to say the Nashville meet up last year was pretty fun and generated a lot of great memories, but the Memphis meet up was by far the best one for me, so far.

My favorite memory from Memphis was, well, I can't really pick just one. I got to drive the Duck the first day and got to dance on the roof with lilo.

Then I got to meet all of my swingers board friends for the first time, nothing can replace that. And the men turned out to be even cooler, and the women turned out to be even sexier in person.

I have to say, if people here can possibly go to a meet up and don't, they are seriously missing out on a memorable experience that they will relive and fondly recall for months and years to come.

The Reno Meetup, of course, will always hold a special place in my heart since we got married while we were there.
