Contest Ideas

I would like your input. Once upon a time, we did quite a few different contests on here. Right now we have a contest going to determine the graphic/logo for our new t-shirt that we will be having printed up.

What I would like is your input on some other contest ideas, contests that would in some way get people involved in the site. You guys have been so creative with the t-shirt ideas that I know you can come up with some interesting contests as well.

Some contests we've had in the past:
- Referral contest - rewarding the member who referred the most new members during a period of time (with bonus points if those members actually got active and posted).
- Most Active Thead contest - rewarding the member who started the most active thread during a period of time.

Give me your ideas, it can be a play on something we've done before, or something totally new and different. Also, I'd love to know what sorts of prizes would encourage you to participate (keep the cost to under $50 please, I can't afford to give away a plasma tv).

Alright, let me elaborate on this... the contest MUST in some way encourage people to join/ post or otherwise get involved on the site.

Here's an idea . . . it's a variation on a game played at bridal and baby showers. Don't say SEX. For the duration of the contest, members are not allowed to use the word SEX in their posts (moderators will have to keep their eyes open). The poster who doesn't get caught wins! And I'm sure we'll all have fun trying to make each othe slip up.

Mr. Sweet suggest that in conjuntion, we start a thread for listing as many euphemisms for sex as possible.

Prizes could be a tee shirt, or gift certificates for an online toy/lingerie vendor.

I'm sure I don't have a chance of winning this contest, but how about a contest of the highest average daily posts over a period of time.
