Trying to get into chat, but have been told repeatedly, invalid username & password.

but i see i am logged into the site.

and also i dont have site permission?

did something go wrong?

I noticed that in a previous post you asked for help in changing your name here. Did you? Personally I think jojochawda is kinda cool. But if its a different profile you may have passwords mixed up. Or haven't received, and followed a conformation e-mail link. also what operating system are you using. With windows earlier than 2000 you may have to enable your java script.

If you are logged into the site you should be automatically logged into the chat room. You said you also didn't have "site permission". I'm not sure what you are referring to there - where else besides the chat room are having problems?

I think I figured it out. I had created some new usergroups, and evidently too many user groups were causing issues with the permissions. Everything should be ok now - except the chat room - which I still have to set to allow users with between 3 and 10 posts. I will get taken care of before the day is over.
