Very nice. I do like some of the changes. Anything that is different will just take a little while to get used to. I appreciate all the hard work.

That feature was no longer available in the upgrade. HOwever, the new "New posts" feature keeps all posts that you haven't read in the list until you read them, which is actually better than having to figure out how long it's been since you've been here. And as always, the new posts are listed in from the newest to oldest, so if you've been absent a while and don't want to go back further than a few days you don't have to. If you ever get tired of the "new posts" telling you that there are threads you haven't read yet, then you can clear the list by going to "Quick Links/ Mark forums read".
If you prefer to just see what's new today you can do so from "Quick Links/Today's Posts".

Hmm... I'll have to look into that, unfortunately that particluar system is cookie controlled. Safari may not be passing the information correctly to the chat system as it reads your login information from the forums to give you access.

Useful hint - I noticed that if you pick a skin you like (I prefer the default blue) and then log out of the forum, when you log back in you have to pick it again as it reverts back to the default orange/pink one. But in your "user CP" under "edit options" at the very bottom of the list of options you can pick it and then it will stay that way on future log ins.

Well I haven't really spent alot of time here since the upgrade yet, but so far I like what I see.

The only issue that I have right now is the New Posts option giving me all the threads that I have not read yet. I like the idea of not being cookie based, but I think there needs to be a button somewhere to allow the user to mark all threads as read. If not, I am either going to have to go through 10 pages of threads and click on each thread to get them all to go away, or just continue to have multiple pages of unread threads forever, unless of course I am missing something, which is entirely possible since I am not the most perceptive guy in the world.

In any event, Thanks Mike for doing just a great job and all your hard work! And thank Julie for maintaining such a great site to begin with!

Under the 'Quick Links' on the tool bar is a place for you to mark forums as already read.

I'm on a pc and using avant browser. But if I go to the chat without logging in it lets me right in to the chat as unregistered.
