Private Messages!

Just to let you all know that there is a limit on how many messages you can have in all of your folders in the private message area of your account. (i think the default limit is 70 total)

what does this mean? well you have 3 different default folders.

1. Inbox
2. Saved box
3. Message Tracking box

If all of those combined reach the total of 70 (or whatever the max is that Julie set) then you will no longer be able to receive Private Messages.

So just make sure that you keep all your folders clean and not just your Inbox or you won't be able to receive any private messages!

Actually it's 50, which very few people ever hit. I have hit it once...lol... but then I usually do try to keep my folders cleaned out.

Just did a check and most people are capped out at about 14, with only about 5 users having more than that. about 90% of those who have any messages stored only have 1.

It is a good reminder to all tho that there is a limit, so if you do a lot of private messaging you may want to make sure that you keep an eye on that. One easy way to keep the #'s down is to uncheck the box at the bottom when you send a new PM that saves a copy to your "Sent" folder.

I just maxed out yesterday, but I never deleted a message. It took me almost two years lol.

For anyone that cares, I deleted all of them so Im good for bout another two years. John.

Actually I think we lost all of our previous PM's in the upgrade back in November. At least I lost mine.

I have been cyber slapped once by the automated PM Authority for the Swingers Board.

Don't take it personally, once someone tries to send you a message which would be number 51, then you get an automated email msg telling you to CLEAN OUT YOUR MAILBOX!

This is supposed to be a swingers forum.

But I have been just overwhelmed by female models propositioning me.

I would like to take this chance to inform them that I am not interested in being another one of there nothches on the bedpost.

LMAO John... those damn models... when will they take the hint.

But seriously tho (and this is for everyone) if anyone is using PM's or the email system on the message board to solicit you please let me know as that is completely unacceptable. And by solicit I mean promote a product or website.... if they want to hook up... well more power to ya

I wanted to send this out to the Board as a general reminder. Please keep an eye on your mailboxes according to th numbers Julie has posted above. I've received several messages lately, and after responding, receive a message stating the users box is full. Frustrating!!! Going to all that trouble to write a response and then it is automatically deleted.....

So please, everyone, check your PM mailbox and delete those old notes.

I will hit 41 soon, and only after deleting my previous selection of saved I’ms. This is probely due to the inflammatory posts and polls that I do so love to reply to and or post! I wish I had the problematic dilemma that john faces (only to bear and grin it) but my hard line persona disallows this to happen! I Look forward to future instant messages and will welcome all private comments with the same diligence that I have prescribed to in my threads
