Thrax,

Thank you SO much (insert sarcasm smiley here) for pointing out that my profile pic really represents 30 days jail time, a 5K fine, AND desecrates Hawaiian land and the culture.

Okay, not breaking news, since the following articles are from 2005, but they explain the rockpile situation in Hawai'i. The rockpile problems seem to be:
1. Park visitors actually destroying lava flow geologic features to create rockpiles
2. Unauthorized-rockpile-builders confusing hikers with rockpiles that may disorient hikers who depend on purposeful/permissable trailmarking rockpiles (established by rangers).

And just to let you know, it is not a federal crime, nor is there any risk of fine or imprisonment, if you actually, in general, touch my butt. I don't think they LOOK swollen, but I'd really need to see 'em up close and personal to give you a honest opinion. Actually, hands on is the best judge of matters such as swollen body parts. Really, it's all necessary, since we all know about the camera adding ten pounds.
