We have the same problem from time to time though, we start reading a new thread and just get caught up in it, then another and another. This board can be like Lay's potato chips( "you can't just eat one). If you figure out a way to solve this problem let us know, we'd love to know how to push ourselves away from time to time. LOL

That is too funny, PrettyLady!! If it's any consolation, been there done that! There was a time I'd be on the boards until 4am! Ugh!

I've got a new routine that guarantees that I'm asleep within two minutes: I play a round or two of LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth II, then I relax with one glass of wine while cruising the message boards, but I stay on the boards only until my glass is empty (usually an hour). After that, I end off with personal grooming, hop into bed with a good book for 15 minutes or so, then BANG!! ZZZZzzz ...

I know, I know...but we're a small company, I have an office, and coworkers and management are not nosey.

Just goes to show that this board is addicting! I've actually been coming home for lunch and checking the board out - along with before work and immediately after work!

And, just as you, Prettylady, I have many times said 'one more thread then off to bed', but it is 5 threads later when I realize it didn't happen!

Ok this is worse me and Mr T have t\2 comps in the bed room and here it is 1:10 and we are still on here, ok we broke for sex but still, we should be sleeping, hopefully soon

This thread makes me laugh every time I visit it.

I am a computer junkie - and I need to visit a support group, I think. I am a board junkie unless I've overdosed, as well. I think I did o.d. on the board by Thursday. But in my defense, I don't really watch much t.v., I use the computer instead.

Work - there's only about an hour a day that I'm not on the computer. I get home, I get on the computer. I program and research and write at work, then come home and do emails, try to work on my personal web page, research, plan/research travel, etc. If there was a way to do household chores using the computer, I'd find it.

It's so bad that we got a laptop for the spousal unit so I could continue monopolizing the desktop. And like the Borg in Star Trek, I assimilated it, and we got him his own laptop again (which I did not assimilate).

At least we don't use chat to talk to each other!

rpu3 you think 2 comps in the house is bad, i have 2+ a media unit in my bedroom and then another 3 throughout the house, comp junkie housesold, you can't get away from them. This wouldn't be all bad if all the kids had one, but the littles ones are under the age of 3. 6 comps and 4 people old enough to use them. This sounds really sad doesn't it.
