I like to scan the unread threads and pick out posts I'm interested in, then mark the rest read in one fell swoop. Unless I'm blind, I can't see it! |

| Ready-Willing-Able | Re: Mark as read I'm not sure we really need a "Mark As Read" button, since the forums kinda do that for you anyway. Since I usually visit daily, I like to go to the "Active Topics" button in the Control Bar and select "Last Day". This brings to the top the topics that have been added to since my last visit. Those topics appear in bold. Read what you want, disregard any you don't... when you log off and return later, all of the topics that appeared in bold on your last visit will now appear as regular type, whether you read them or not.

You can mark all forums as read from there, or you can do it on a forum by forum basis from each particular forum under that forums' "forum tools" menu. |
