Hi guys, this was a good thread or I think it might've taken me forever to post. I'm very guilty of being a lurker...I've been lurking for THREE years.

I've learned a lot coming to this board and I visit it almost every day. I feel like I know all of you so hopefully you will get to know us soon.

We're here, we lurk to find out more about this lifestyle, we find a lot of answers to our questions here. One question we do have is...Should we have our first experience at a on-premise club or find someone in our area and have a house party?

On-premises club. Everyone is friendly helpful and you get to see it all and decide if it's for you. It's a real fun eye-opener.

There is always a comfort zone in lurking. I did for a couple weeks before posting in the Intro forum. (Sorry, now you can't get me to shut-up!) I was comfortably covert and busy reading whatever I could before then.

It also helped me get to know you guys. It let me see who gave the greatest advice, which couples sounded the most like Mr. LFM and myself and what we're looking for. It also let me see who to stray away from.

Welcome to all the non-lurkers now! We really do wish you'd post more so we can get to know you better.

There is definately something to be said for that. I think reading for a while and getting a handle on people's personalities on the board could help cut down on a lot of conflict. At least then when a new person posts and one of our resident jerks (..uh.. I mean devils advocates) decides to pop up, at least then said newbie would know to just ignore them rather than get all riled up taking it personally.
