Well I don't really consider myself a lurker...but sometimes thats exactly what I do. I enjoy reading the posts.....I feel like I've come to know some of the "regulars" and look forward to seeing what they post. I also don't post as much as I'd like to mainly because either someone else has already said what I would say......or I feel like I dont have enough experience to give advice. I try, though. And give me time....I plan on becoming a "regular" myself someday...haha. *sigh*

I lurk here because we are on a break from SLS. Their forums are included in the break.

I'd like to figure out who is who and all that jazz before I come in here willy nilly like and start posting away.

Well, I guess I got "called out"-LOL. For me, I've been backwards and forwards and up and down through all of the topics/posts/archives. Simply put, this forum offers a wealth of information and continues to be an excellent road map towards pursuing the lifestyle as a newbie(or enjoying the lifestyle). Established and non established members of this cyber community provide considerate and well thought out responses to questions of all kinds and are always welcoming to new members.

Now with that said in conjunction with all the perusing I've done here. I simply don't have anything to ask at this point. My wife and I are exploring the possibilities and are truly enjoying the journey along the way. Now if I get to a point in a conversation with my wife to where she's pushed a button(you know that little blast of adrenaline you feel in your stomach when something is said?), I come back here and normally find a topic that covers where I'm at with my thoughts, and thus the road map is literally at my fingertips.

I guess the opposing viewpoint would be that "if everyone lurked, there'd be nothing to lurk at". Ya got me there! I'll try to get better!

I do want to thank everyone here who posts. It's truly beneficial and worth the time for this potential newbie.

Thank You. I agree the Mrs. needs to lurk here a while. She's contemplating without a road map at this point and is mildly concerning to me. I've told her about this resource and to use it at her own pace, on her own time. I think when she wants to come on here, we'll be reading/lurking together.

If nothing else at least when the two of you are talking and a question comes up you can have a resource to turn to, even if it's just to get the answer and take it back to her. Welcome to the board "harsh" and there's still plenty of ways to join in without having to have something to ask regarding swinging. We have lots of great non-swinging topics too.

Thank You Julie and thanks for Chicup for cracking me out of that lurker shell. Harsh has just been a longtime nickname and in no way reflects my sexual habits or interpersonal skills

My wife has never been a cyber hound, or put in a better way: Internet Savvy, but she is working on it. As goofy as it may sound, we've actually found email to be another way to communicate seeing as how busy and apart we are. Introducing her to email was an arduous task, but very rewarding for both of us.

I think I'll be putting up a question/thread very soon for all to ponder. Thanks again.
