Yep, it often gets a little slow on the holiday weekends.

Yeah.... somehow I don't think it's because of a 3 day weekend, or the indy 500. :-) Although that may make it seem even slower than on any other normal day.... but somehow, I think it is mostly because the past couple days saw an otherworldly like barrage of posts. :-) There were so many yesterday, today I almost feel like I'm having SB post withdrawals. LOL

Well as a Canadian I don't have a list of American Holidays but I have a feeling it is very smiliar to our Remembrance Day in November.

Yep, similar to Remembrance Day. If I happen to be in my hometown on Memorial Day weekend I usually help my Dad with planting flowers at the graves of my grandparents, great-grandparents, and various other relatives whether they served in the military or not.

See I told you it sounded like Rememberance Day! It appears to be the very same. And as someone who comes from a big time military familiy I do understand the importance of such a holiday.

. My sister was born on Victoria Day, the real Victoria Day - May 24th. (talk about confusing when they float those days around). So we had cake.
