What is the deal here? Is it just my imagination or is the board suddenly being overrun with (for lack of a better word) 'mingles'? Married people looking to swing without their spouse. I've only been here since late last year, but I've noticed a lot of new users introducing themselves and more often than not, it's a wannabe-single married guy looking for an outlet here in the swinging world. Ok, I'm not saying that there aren't valid couples out there who decide between themselves that playing separately is ok, but more often you'll see the 'bad apples' who give these genuine couples the bad rap.

Am I imagining this? Julie, if you read this thread, has there been a spike in married males joining lately? Other users, have you noticed it too?

There has been a flood of new married males and single males joining the board in the past few weeks!

As moderator of the Introductions forum I read every introduction and have seen the increase.

Maybe cheaters make their New Year's resolution to get fucked more.

I joined the board at the end of January 2004 so I can't compare it to what the Intros where like at the holidays a year ago.

Yep, I've noticed it too, and its not just on this sight, we've seen a rash of these guys showing up at our local clubs on nights they allow single males. As an example here is a quote from a thread on the forum of one of our local swingers clubs.

It may just be yet another side effect of the main stream exposure swinging has gotten recently.

Everything tends to go in surges, we've had surges of "mingles" before and they have died off. It usually doesn't take long for them to get the message that they aren't welcome here.

That's sort of what I was thinking. With the Oprah show and I think there have been some others it's sort of out there to the public.
