Custom Avatar

How do I post one?.....We now have reached 10 posts..

First you'll need to prepare your custom avatar and save it. I think the maximum measurement is 100 pixels.

Go to your User CP and click on "edit avatar."

At the bottom of the page that comes up, click "Use custom avatar."

Then click "browse." Find the image you want to use and click "Open."

At the bottom, click "save changes."

Sorry, I had to do this in steps.

Have same problem, no option for Use Custom Avatar is available, help!!

Kept on trying thanks, worked after a while,

now personalised Avatar!!

Typically, you won't have the option immideately after you hit 10 posts, the system has to update and it doesn't do it with every post, that would be a huge hit on the system for it to constantly do that. Rather it checks and updates users a couple of times a day. So, worst case scenario you'll be able to post your custom avatar the day after you hit 10 posts.

Is the Avatar the profile picture too- one in the same?

No, they are not the same.

The avatar is the image/picture that appears on each of your posts. There are images you can choose from already provided on the board when you go to User CP.

The profile picture is seen when someone opens your profile.

If you go to User CP you have the ability to upload a picture from your computer that you would like for your avatar or one for your profile picture.

You can't ad a custom avatar or picture until you've posted at least 10 times.

The size of the picture you can use for an avatar is limited to 75 pixels max, I believe.
